Job Classification Process

By June 2023, Personnel will decrease the time to process classification requests by 10%, improving services to our internal customers.

Gather data to determine baseline process length for various types of classification requests (i.e., vacant reclass, filled reclass, etc.). Review other jurisdictions processes for best practices. Identify and eliminate waste; review current forms used in process and determine if modifications need to be made, such as conversion to electronic forms. Design a classification website to share information with other jurisdictions completing salary studies.
