South County Government Center

By June 2024, Public Works will complete the acquisition and development of the South County Service Center to be located at 500 Westridge, Watsonville.

Complete workplace mobility study for targeted departments including Human Services, Agricultural Commissioner, Child Support Services, and Probation. Complete feasibility studies, bond financing, and acquisition processes to close escrow on the 500 Westridge facility. Procure consultants to develop final tenant improvement plans and specifications and award bid for installation of tenant improvements and required ADA and capital maintenance items required for occupancy. Terminate existing leases and relocate departments to new facility.
