Rehousing Rate

By December 2023, Human Services will increase the rehousing rate of households served in emergency shelter programs to 40%.

Establish new Human Services emergency shelter contracts with providers that include re-housing services and resources. Support and train emergency shelter staff in strength-based care management approaches and housing problem solving strategies. Coordinate regular networking and information sharing among shelter providers to enhance mutual learning for positive outcomes. Link expanded resources with participants in shelters including increased permanent housing slots, income growth resources, and other opportunities to become housed.
