Playground Resurfacing

By June 2025, Parks will replace sand in five playgrounds with a safer and more user friendly material to improve safety for children and families in County Parks.

Utilize matrix prioritizing locations based on usage, accessibility, safety issues, maintenance costs, installation costs, etc. Identify funding and partnerships, and look for grants. Start replacing at identified parks / incorporate into maintenance and planning staff project schedules.
