Exit Interviews

By June 2025, the County Administrative Office and all County Departments will ensure that 100% of staff separating voluntarily from the County receive an exit interview utilizing the existing separation report process.

Work with supervisors to ensure they know about exit interview resources, and how to properly conduct exit interviews. Review current separation packet and research adding exit interview questions related to job satisfaction, perceptions of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and other aspects of the employment experience. Initiate small test of change with specific departments to implement additional exit interview questions completed by separating employees. Adjust the current exit interview process to include the additional exit interview questions.
